In preparation to the World Exposition Milan 2015, we took part in the design of 18 informative installations for the United Nations, which were spread all over the Expo site. Each installation explained, among other issues, the 5 elements of UN Zero Hunger Challenge. All the interactive information was supported by simple materials, easy to be recycled, such as OSB panels, metal bars and plexiglass plates.
Moreover, each installation was adapted to the context where it was assembled, so to create different configurations. Thus, cantilevers created fresh and shaded spaces to rest, seatings were organized to shape convivial spaces, as well as small passages and ludic elements fostered a child-friendly scale and provided spaces to play.
